Biographical Information:
I am currently employed at Turkeyfoot Valley Area School District in Confluence, Pennsylvania, where I will be starting a new position on Monday.  I will be working curriculum development in the morning with our vo-tech students, then spending the afternoons teaching Library.  This is my second year at Turkeyfoot, and before starting there I taught first grade at Somerset Area School District.  I received my Bachelors degree from California University of Pennsylvania.  While at Cal U, I taught skiing at Hidden Valley Resort and continue to teach there during winter.  I am currently earning my Masters of Instructional Media degree from Wilkes University.
In my free time:
In my free time I enjoy skiing, hiking, mt. and road biking, camping and spending time with my husband, Mike.  We have been married for almost three years.

Future Goals:
My future goals are to enhance my knowledge of technology and then share it with my students.  My future career goals are to get a full time teaching position in any grade then move to a pre-k through second grade position.  I would also like to help future teachers by hosting student teachers in my classroom.
Digital Portfolio:
My digital portfolio is a work in progress.  In the future I plan on adding more projects that I complete during my course work at Wilkes.  I am only in my second class so I still have a bunch of classes left to build projects.  I also plan to add projects that I complete with my students, social media sites, and my teacher web page that our student webpage design class creates for us.  My page is not up because it needed changed do to position changes that occurred on Friday.
